Hünkar – Fine Bulgur for Köfte – 1 kg

Hünkar Gold Köftelik Bulgur is fine-grain bulgur in a 1000 g bag, with the words Köftelik Bulgur on a black band across the front. Köftelik means it is meant for kneading into köfte.

Soak it with a little warm water until soft, then knead with minced meat, grated onion and spices for meat köfte, or with cooked red lentils and tomato paste for lentil köfte served in lettuce leaves. It also makes a good base for a bulgur salad with parsley and lemon. Fold the top of the bag over and keep it in a cool, dry cupboard.
