Al Ameera – Tahini – 400 g

Al Ameera Tahini is sesame paste in a 400 g plastic jar with a blue lid. The label is printed in Arabic and English as Tahina, so it is easy to recognise on the shelf.

Stir it with lemon juice, garlic and chickpeas for hummus, thin it with water and lemon for a creamy sauce over falafel and grilled vegetables, or spread a spoonful on bread with date syrup for breakfast. Stir the jar before using, since the oil can rise to the top, and store it closed in a cool, dry place.
